My primary duties are to teach elementary music, middle school choir, and high school choir. I also assist with band.
I graduated from West Texas A&M with a degree in Music Therapy. I completed a six month internship at Osawatomie State Hospital. I then passed my boards and worked as an Activities therapist at the Pavilion in Amarillo for two years.
While at WT I ran cross country and track, played in the WT symphony, taught a guitar class, took viola, and voice lessons. Since graduation I have played violin for WT’s production of “Chicago the Musical” and “Little Women.”
I currently hold the credentials MT-BC (Music Therapist- Board Certified) and I am a member of TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association.)
I believe in a MUSIC first educational philosophy.
