The Roughrider Boys Cross Country team capped off an outstanding season with a strong performance at the State Championship, earning an impressive 8th-place finish, besting last year’s state appearance. Competing against the fastest runners in Texas, the boys showed grit, determination, and pride from start to finish.

All season long, this group displayed consistent improvement, teamwork, and competitive drive—qualities that carried them to the highest level of competition. Their state performance reflects countless hours of training, early mornings, and a commitment to pushing one another to be better every day.
