Casey Macawile earned the highest honor at the state-level Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE), receiving a prestigious Gold Seal for his acrylic painting titled "Legacy." The Gold Seal represents the pinnacle of achievement in the competition, equivalent to a state championship. As one of only a small fraction of participants to receive this distinction, Casey’s artwork will now join an elite traveling exhibition across Texas. "Legacy" will be featured in various government buildings, including the State Capitol, where it will remain on display through November.
