My most proud accomplishments are being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother.
I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from West Texas A&M University in 2001 and a Master of Educational Adminstration in 2012 from Lamar University.
I taught a total of 11 years at the same school in Amarillo: Reading for 5 years and English Language Arts for 6 years. During my teaching career, I was a co-teacher, a lead teacher, a mentor, and an Administrative Assistant.
Prior to teaching, I was a Caseworker at the Texas Workforce Center and Cal Farley's Boys Ranch.
Being an Assistant Principal and Instructional Coach for Blakemore is my dream job. Every day is an opportunity to learn something new and to share the acquired knowledge with others (teachers and students alike).
